ADI BPO Services took over Bangalore-based MPS Limited, a Macmillan company with over 35 years of experience in publishing solutions, last fall and earlier this week the company announced a new board of directors with ADI BPO director Nishith Arora assuming the role of chairman of MPS Limited. Arora, a Harvard Business School alumnus, is no stranger to the content services industry in India. He founded and owned ITC (International Typesetting and Composition) prior to selling it to Infomedia (which in turn sold it to Cenveo).
ADI BPO, which holds 76.27% of MPS Limited, has two existing publishing services centers in northern India, specifically in Dehradun and Noida. “We assure MPS customers, employees, and other stakeholders of business continuity, and going forward we will leverage on ADI and MPS resources to deliver greater value to customers,” said Arora whose team recently helped BJU Press, a leading Christian education publisher based in Greenville, S.C., to launch an eBook platform using MPS’s content transformation tool, MediaSuite.
