Ingram Publisher Services has signed publishers AMPress, Diversion Publishing and Inkshares to its roster of clients. Ingram will handle sales and distribution in the U.S. and Canada for all three publishers, who will also utilize Lightning Source, the distributor's print-on-demand service.
Founded by agent Scott Waxman, Diversion now has a list of nearly 700 titles, including Mark Cuban's How To Win at the Sport of Business; and Greg Behrendt and Amiira Ruotola's It's Just a F***ing Date.
San Francisco-based startup Inkshares uses crowdfunding to select and finance its titles. It has published 11 titles since January 2014, among them, The Cat's Pajamas, a children's book by Daniel Wallace, author of Big Fish. Ingram will also be handling e-book distribution for Inkshares titles.
Founded 15 years ago by mystery writer Archer Mayor, AMPress specializes in mystery titles. Ingram will kick off its partnership with the independent publisher with a series of 18 recently resurrected tiles from Mayor's Joe Gunther mystery series.
