Further, they fail to convince on why technological innovations in agriculture will fail, and lapse into a dubious brief for locavorism.”
On The View, former Top Chef contestant and one-time Le Cirque underling Spike Mendelsohn served up The Good Stuff Cookbook: Burgers, Fries, Shakes, Wedges, and More (Wiley, 978-0470527924, $24.95), which PW said “expands upon his eatery's menu to offer up 120 comfort foods with attitudes.”
This evening on The Daily Show, Marilynne Robinson discusses Absence of Mind: The Dispelling of Inwardness from the Modern Myth of the Self (Yale Univ. Press, 978-0300145182, $24).
