Rowling Event Moved to Larger Venue After Ticketing Snafu
It was pretty much a given that J.K. Rowling’s appearance at Lincoln Center on October 16 -- her only public event in the U.S. to promote The Casual Vacancy -- would be a tough ticket. But the situation became a bit tense for fans when an unauthorized link to purchase tickets to the event went live 12 hours before the official on-sale time.

Marcus to Succeed Gibson at Random House Children's Books
After a 30-year career at Random House, the last 10 in which he ran Random House Children’s Books division, Chip Gibson is leaving the company. Gibson will be succeeded as president and publisher of the division by children’s publishing veteran Barbara Marcus. The changes are effective immediately.
