Kate Gales will join the Simon & Schuster publicity department as a senior publicist on Team 4, reporting to Kelly Welsh. She joins S&S from Overlook Press, where she worked on campaigns and tours for a wide variety of fiction and non-fiction titles and handled Overlook's social media and online outreach.
Steve Geck has joined Sourcebooks as editorial manager for Sourcebooks Jabberwocky! In this new position, Geck will be responsible for acquisitions and the overall direction of growing the children’s imprint. Prior to joining Sourcebooks, Geck was executive editor for the Greenwillow Books imprint at HarperCollins for nine years.
