Dee Peeler, bookseller and senior buyer for Baltimore independent bookstore Greetings & Readings of Hunt Valley, died peacefully on February 21. Her colleagues called her a "dedicated and loyal employee who helped the family-owned retailer become Baltimore's premier independent bookstore."
The bookstore opened its doors 43 years ago, and Peeler was a member of its team for much of that time. Greetings & Readings has plans to officially dedicate its bookstore to Peeler's memory.
