Beginning July 1, Alan Harvey will replace Geoffrey Burn as director of Stanford University Press. Harvey, SUP's deputy director and editor-in-chief, has been with the company since 2002, when he came from Cambridge University Press. In the past decade, the press' revenue has grown by more than 27%.

To help ease the transition, Burn will support Harvey as deputy editor for the next 12 months, and will continue as acquisitions editor for the Stanford Security Studies series.
