F+W Media has announced the hiring of Lucas Hilbert, formerly senior product manager, marketing and merchandising at Amazon, to the position of v-p of eCommerce. In the newly-created role, Hilbert will have responsibility for F+W's entire eCommerce division, and will report to Chad Phelps, F+W chief digital officer. Hilbert has also been named to the F+W Media executive committee.
