Maureen Corish has been named group communications director of U.K. & international (English Language) for the newly-merged Penguin Random House. Corish will report to Tom Weldon, CEO of Penguin Random House U.K. Corish was group communications director for the U.K. and international operations of the Random House Group.
Christine LeBlond has rejoined Susan Schulman A Literary Agency as an agent. LeBlond began her career at the agency as executive assistant and, most recently, was at the Periplus Publishing Group. LeBlond will specialize in cookbooks, health, fitness and children's books and is also interested in memoir and literary fiction; she can be reached at cleblond@schulmanagency.com.
Brooke Carey has been named editor at Penguin's Gotham Books imprint, where she will be acquiring a wide range of nonfiction. She was most recently an editor at Portfolio, Sentinel, and Current.
