Today, president of Perseus Distribution Client Services Sabrina McCarthy announced the promotion of Heidi Sachner to v-p, Client Services. She joined the company in 2011 as director of Client Services.
"[Sachner] is incredibly dedicated, extremely thorough, very reasonable and absolutely committed to helping our publishers and our company be the best that it can be," said McCarthy.
In addition, effective August 1, Libby Powell will be Client Services Manager, reporting to Sachner and taking on some of Schner's clients. Powell previously managed distribution, licensing, and special sales at Teachers College Press. Perseus said any publishers affected by the change will be notified soon.
