Susan Reich has announced that she will be retiring as president of Publishers Group West, the distribution arm of Perseus Books Group. Reich will continue in her current role until March 31, 2015.
Mark Suchomel, president of client services, will head the effort to fill Reich’s position, a role she has held for seven years. Reich has also served as president and COO of Avalon, and worked for HarperCollins, Random House, and Simon & Schuster.

"Under Susan’s leadership, PGW has built further on its extraordinary reputation and track record of success serving independent publishers. One of Susan’s most important legacies is the terrific team that she has cultivated."
