One of PGW’s smaller former clients, Professional Books Inc., has been acquired by Square One Publishers. PBI is mainly known for its Yeast Connection series written by the late doctor William Crook. The five titles in the line have sold more than one million copies to date. Square One publisher Rudy Shur said he will integrate the line into the company’s health publishing program, which also includes the titles acquired by Square One from Vital Health Publishing in February.
Moving PBI’s inventory into Square One’s warehouse is expected to be completed by April 15.
