Adding to its new online bookclub offerings, Barnes & Noble has teamed with Nextbook to create a Jewish-themed group. Built around the publisher’s Jewish Encounters Series, the Jewish Encounters book club will feature moderated discussions with authors and other experts. The club is currently set to read eight titles, starting with Robert Pinsky’s The Life of David.
To date, B&N has been building book clubs around certain publishers, like Nextbook, as well as around themes like history and women’s literature.
