Rolf Zettersten, senior v-p of Hachette Book Group and publisher of the Nashville-based FaithWords and Center Street imprints, has restructured the operations of the Nashville office, a move that centralizes all marketing in New York while expanding local digital programs. While most of the two imprints' editorial operations will remain in Nashville, all advertising and promotion responsibilities for both imprints will move to New York which will have a three-person Center Street office comprised of an editor, publicist and an assistant. Zettersten will also hire someone in the New York office to oversee online promotions for FaithWorks and Center Street as well as hiring a marketing manager.

There will continue to be about 20 people in the Nashville office as the imprints hire staff for new roles, offsetting the jobs lost to New York. According to the statement announcing the changes, moving some editorial to New York, will give the team there "more opportunity to interface directly with the literary agents and media located there." Moving the marketing to New York will allow the imprints to take advantage of the resources already located in the city.

In the Nashville office, Jana Burson, who has been publicity director for the division for four years, has been promoted to editor for FaithWords with Shannon Stowe named to head publicity. Michele McKee was named to the new position of digital content director, working with editors and authors to develop content for use in enhanced e-books, apps and other digital opportunities.
