Rowman & Littlefield Publishers has signed a non-exclusive co-publishing agreement with the American Educational Research Association (AERA). The first co-published book, Studying Diversity in Teacher Education edited by Arnetha Ball and Cynthia A. Tyson, is slated for publication in November. Other titles will follow as they are developed.
AERA, an organization that fosters scholarly research related to education, has more than 30,000 members, consisting of educators, administrators, research directors, grad students, behavioral scientists and others. R&L acquiring editor in education Patti Belcher said the AERA publishing program fits nicely into Rowman & Littlefield Publishing Group’s list because its membership includes a range of disciplines, including education, psychology, statistics, sociology, history, economics, philosophy, anthropology, and political science.
