Chicken Soup for the Soul Publishing and Brilliance Audio have started a new imprint, Chicken Soup for the Soul on Brilliance Audio. The imprint will publish and distribute audiobook editions of select books in the Chicken Soup series. For now, Brilliance, which is owned by Amazon, has signed on for 24 Chicken Soup books, and Brilliance managing editor Daniel Byrne said he hopes to continue the program beyond that. Much of what Brilliance is releasing in audio now is in tandem with the print releases of the books.

So far there are 12 audiobooks in the imprint: Chicken Soup for the Soul: Teens Talk High School, Teens Talk Middle School, A Book of Miracles, Runners, Christmas Cheer, What I Learned from the Cat, What I Learned from the Dog, Think Positive, My Resolution, Shaping the New You, Happily Ever After, and True Love

Health Communications was the original publisher of the Chicken Soup books, and released many of them in audio format. In 2008, Bill Rouhana Jr. and Bob Jacobs acquired the Chicken Soup for the Soul franchise and formed Chicken Soup for the Soul LLC, buying a majority stake in Chicken Soup from creators Mark Victor Hansen and Jack Canfield.
