Robert McCullough, who was at the Vancouver-based Whitecap Books, will be heading a new imprint at Random House Canada dedicated to food and lifestyle books. McCullough, who will start at RH on July 11, has been at Whitecap for 21 years and has been publisher there since 2001. At Whitecap, McCullough published a range of famous chefs including Gordon Ramsay and Curtis Stone.

The new imprint, which does not yet have a name, will be handled by McCullough from his home base in Vancouver and will, after a few years getting established, publish 15-20 titles annually. RH Canada said that the Vancouver locale for the imprint will be an advantage since McCullough as a "West-coast based" staffer will have access to "some of the great gastronomic talent there."
