Erik Larson's May release, In the Garden of Beasts, has hit a sales milestone. The Crown title, which follows the U.S. ambassador to Germany during the 1930s as well as his teenage daughter, has sold just over 500,000 copies Random House reports. RH said the figure, which does not reflect sales through independent bookstores, is split between digital and print, with e-books accounting for roughly 50% of purchases.
