Tantor Audio, the publisher of unabridged fiction and nonfiction audiobooks, has announced the introduction of digital downloads as an additional format for their catalogue of new, bestselling, and classic titles. Available at Tantor.com, the downloads are offered in the MP3 format and play on all popular audio devices, including all Apple software and devices.
Tantor had already offered an MP3 CD format, and though the digital download is also MP3 format, it is more compressed and downloads more quickly than MP3 CD format. The prices range from $9.99 to $29.99, depending upon length.
