Planned Television Arts has rebranded itself as Media Connect, a division of Finn Partners. The name change comes on the book publicity firm's 50th anniversary. Mike Levine, founder of Planned Television Arts, created the name based on the huge upswing in TV's popularity at the beginning of the 60s. With the rise of the Internet and social media, commented David Hahn, managing director, "Our name will more accurately reflect our broader offerings and the essence of who we are and what we do."

The Web site for the company is now www.media-connect.com.
