Islandport Press in Yarmouth, Me., announced that Toronto-based Transatlantic Literary Agency will represent its titles in Europe and Asia beginning with the Bologna Book Fair in March.
“As the publishing business continues to undergo seismic and irreversible change,” says Islandport publisher Dean L. Lunt, “it is critical that we aggressively explore new markets for our titles. Even though we are a regional publisher, we believe that some of our titles will be very appealing to European and Asian readers.”
Nimbus Publishing in Halifax, Nova Scotia, distributes select Islandport titles in Canada.
