Beginning with the May 5 print edition, PW is adding more bestsellers lists. Monday will mark the publication of e-book bestsellers sold through the iBooks store in a variety of categories. Every week the print edition will feature the top 10 iBooks bestsellers in the children & teens and fiction & literature categories plus two other rotating categories. In the May 5 issue, the highlighted categories are romance and biographies & memoirs. The PW website will also have the top 20 bestsellers in a total of 13 categories plus the overall top 20 list.
On the print side, we are adding monthly category lists in a total of eight genres based on Nielsen BookScan data. In the May 5 issue, look for print bestsellers in romance, mystery, science fiction and fantasy. In the May 19 issue you'll find category bestsellers in graphic novels, history, cooking, and biography/autobiography.
