Square One Publishers is increasing its presence in the alternative medicine field, taking over distribution for the book program of InnoVision Health Media. Based in Boulder and publisher of the magazine Natural Solutions: Vibrant Health, Balanced Living, InnoVision has three books on integrative medicine that combine practices of Western and Eastern medicine. Square One will take over distribution from Ten Speed August 15.
The agreement also includes six upcoming titles in the Natural Solutions series. The first new books in the line are not due out until mid 2010, said Square One publisher Rudy Shur. The deal with InnoVision follows agreements Square One made in 2008 to take on the health titles of Vital Health Publications and Professional Books, Ltd.
