Publishers should note that the deadline for entering spring adult titles to be published between Feb. 1, 2011, and July 31, 2011, is end of day tomorrow, Dec. 1. Publishers can register at the following site or go to http://edelweiss.abovethetreeline.com/pw and begin entering their titles; they must hit “submit titles for review” to complete their entries. If publishers are in the process of entering, they should be sure to finalize and hit the “submit” button. On Friday, Dec. 3, all titles that have been entered will automatically be considered “submitted” and the entering process will be officially over.
We have had an enormous response to our new way of collecting the spring titles, and thanks are due to the nearly 600 publishers and imprints that have already submitted titles. Later in December, this list will go live online to PW subscribers for a comprehensive overview of the coming season. Our January 24, 2011, print issue will feature extensive listings selected from the online entries, as well as essays appraising the season’s offerings by category.
