Artbook | D.A.P. has formed Artbook International and signed a wide variety of new partners and representatives to expand its sales and distribution program across the world and extend its global reach. Based in New York, Artbook publishes and distributes art and photography books.
In the U.K., the company has partnered with Marston Book Services for distribution and have enlisted Yale Representation Limited for sales and marketing services. Books can now be ordered in the U.K. and Europe through Nielsen Book Data.
In France, Artbook titles are now represented by Paris-based Interart; in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Luxembourg, Frankfurt-based Gabriele Kern of P.S. Publishers’ Services represents the company, and Copenhagen-based Bremer Publishing Services will serve the company in Scandinavia, Estonia and South Africa.
Dublin-based book representative John Fitzpatrick covers Ireland and book representation agency Padovani Books will serve Artbook customers in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Cyprus, Gibraltar and Greece. Warsaw-based Ewa Ledochowicz is the primary representative in Russia and the former Soviet Republics.
In Japan, Artbook works with independent wholesaler, MHM Wholesale and the rest of Asia is covered by Chris Ashton of Publishers International Marketing. Australian imports are handled by Melbourne-based Books at Manic.
Finally, Nicolas Friedmann represents Artbook in Latin America.
