Paraclete Signs NY Media Celeb's Holiday Novel
John Gray, an anchor and Emmy-winning TV newsman in the Albany, N.Y. area for 25 years, sold a novel, Manchester Christmas, to Jon Sweeney at Paraclete Press. Agent Jim Hart represented Gray and the title -- a tale of mysterious images appearing in a church's stained glass windows — is set for a Dec. 20 release. The publisher also announced that Gray optioned movie and television rights to filmmaker Brian Herzlinger (Christmas Angel, starring Della Reese, and more rom-com films) While Gray has authored three children's books, this is his first for the adult inspirational fiction market. Proceeds from the book will go toward a scholarship fund in the name of a late co-worker.
