Ellis Reups with IVP

Kelli Trujillo at IVP has acquired world rights to Weathering Change: Lessons from the Birds on Finding Peace in Transitions by Courtney Ellis. Keely Boeving of WordServe Literary brokered the deal. In the book, Ellis, an author and pastor, looks at how birds cope with change to share insights on how we might become more adaptable, and explores what change might tell us about the goodness of God. The book is scheduled for early 2026.

IVP Takes Book on Battling Lust

Kelli Trujillo at IVP has also inked a world rights deal with unagented authors Jay Y. Kim and Isaac Serrano for the tentatively titled Offer Your Bodies, in which the pair help readers recognize, understand, and battle the power of lust and pornography, as well as expand their vision of sexuality based on the Bible. The authors are lead pastors of separate churches in California. The book is scheduled for a fall 2026 release.

Artist Makes His Mark with IVP

The unagented Nathan Lloyd Nicholson, founder and creative director of NUMA Art, LLC, has signed a world-rights deal with Nilwona Nowlin, associate editor at IVP, the tentatively titled Make Your Mark. The book will feature Nicholson’s art alongside short reflections on creativity. Nicholson is a multidisciplinary artist, and digital specialist for the Evangelical Covenant Church and an ordained elder/cleric in the Church of God in Christ. The book is scheduled for a spring 2026 publication.

Two Books by Giles to W-M

Estee Zandee, editor at WaterBrook Multnomah, has inked a world-rights deal for two books by pastor, media personality and speaker Joshua Giles. the first book in the deal, This Is Your Moment: Seize God’s Timing and Build the Future You Want to See will be released in spring 2026. No pub date has been announced for the second book, The God Frequency: Tuning In To Hear, See, and Know the Voice of God. Jevon Bolden of Embolden Media Group handled the deal.

Revell Takes Book for Christian Alcoholics

Revell executive editor Rachel McRae has take world rights to the tentatively titled Confessions of a Christian Alcoholic by Jon Seidl. Tom Dean of A Drop of Ink Literary negotiated the deal. Seidl—owner of The Veritas Creative—offers hope and help through his story and others’ who have been "stuck in a destructive relationship with alcohol" and helps readers "define their struggle with alcohol and how to break free." The book is set for an October 2025 release to coincide with “Sober October.”
