Revell Takes Essay Collection on Grief
Rachel McRae, acquiring editor for Revell, has acquired world rights to Loss and Legacy by Chelsea Ohlemiller, the second book for the author of Now That She's Gone (Revell, 2024), from Debbie Alsdorf at Books and Such Literary Management. The book is a collection of original essays on loss and moving forward by honoring the legacy left to us. A fall 2026 release is planned.
WaterBrook & Multnomah Picks Up Guide to Preventing Burnout
Will Anderson, senior editor at WaterBrook & Multnomah, has acquired world rights from Curtis Yates and Mike Salisbury at Yates & Yates to two books by Jon Tyson, a pastor and leader in the spiritual formation movement. The first in the two-book deal, The Antidote for Exhaustion: The Power You Need for the Life You Want, is scheduled for fall 2026 publication. Tyson offers a framework for understanding why so many feel burned out, then points toward finding peace, stability, and power by going deeper with God. The second title has not yet been announced.
Zondervan, Zonderkidz Sign Digital Safety Titles
Webster Younce, vp and executive editor at Zondervan, and Katherine Easter, acquisitions editor at Zonderkidz, acquired world rights to three titles by digital safety expert and Protect Young Eyes founder Chris McKenna from Tom Dean of A Drop of Ink Literary. The first title in the multi-book deal is an as-yet-untitled adult trade book, set to release in June 2026 with Zondervan, that will offer five practical habits to protect children, build digital trust, and equip parents to confidently guide their child through the online world, according to the publisher. The deal also includes two children’s titles—one picture book for ages 4-8 and another for ages 8-12—that will introduce children to the topic of digital safety and offer practical tools. Both are slated for publication in summer 2027.
