David Hajdu and PW senior editor Mark Rotella will be at The Tenement Museum on December 7 at 6:30 as part of the "Tenement Talks" series. The event will celebrate the "Italian decade," when Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, Tony Bennett, and Dean Martin won the hearts of the American public and their music became the soundtrack of postwar America. Hajdu is the author of multiple National Book Critics Circle award nominees and Rotella's book is Amore: The Story of Italian American Song.
