World Book Night U.S. has some new board members and a new chairman. Michael Pietsch, newly minted CEO of Hachette, has been elected chairman of the organization's board.
Entrekin is leaving the WBN board altogether and is being replaced by Grove's v-p and editorial director, Elisabeth Schmitz. Madeline McIntosh at Random House is also stepping down, and being replaced by Susanne Herz, senior v-p of publishing at Doubleday. Staying on the board for another year are: Molly Barton (Penguin); Patricia Bostelman (B&N); Dennis Eulau (S&S); Josh Marwell (Harper); Phil Ollila (Ingram); Jeff Seroy (FSG); and Oren Teicher (ABA).
