Reed Exhibitions has appointed Jacks Thomas, joint CEO of Midas Public Relations, as senior exhibition director for the the London Book Fair. Thomas has over 20 years' experience in the U.K. and international book industries: prior to joining Midas PR, she was the director of communications, Europe for Reader's Digest.
Ian Houghton, portfolio director at Reed Exhibitions said: "I am delighted to welcome Jacks Thomas as the new director of the London Book Fair. Jacks has been intimately involved with the fair for several years and this deep knowledge of the show and how it works, linked with her understanding of what drives value for publishers, makes her an excellent choice to lead the show’s on-going development."
She replaces Alistair Burtenshaw who stepped down earlier this year.
