Rakuten Kobo has released its list of the top selling e-books and audiobooks in Canada for the year. A.J. Finn's The Woman in the Window led the e-book list, and was third in audio. Mark Manson's The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck topped the audio list. Kobo also released a list of ten titles that readers bought and finished reading this year, led by James Patterson's The 17th Suspect.
The Toronto-based retailer operates in 16 countries and re-launched in the U.S. this year with Wal-mart as its retail partner. In a press release company noted that Canadians were the company's most active readers, averaging 72 hours reading per person this year. The most popular times for reading were during the morning and evening commutes; and the most popular day to read was Sunday.
