John Wiley has launched a new Chinese-language Web site,wileychina.com, that it hopes will raise its profile in the country through "greaterand more meaningful engagement with the community there," the company said. Wileychina.com will feature generalinformation about Wiley's presence in China as well as details about corecontent of interest to the Chinese community.
In addition, the site will include hyper-links and cross referencesto wiley.com,Wiley InterScience andthe Press Room where all localnews and eventswill be highlighted. The site will direct Chinese users to specific contentrelevant to them - including Wiley's other Chinese-language Web site, Materialsviewschina.com,as well as tutorials and user guides, product presentations and catalogues andcontact details for company representatives - all available in Chinese locallanguage.
