Movie Previews at NYCC
New York Comic Con has announced the full schedule of movie trailers and previews which will be shown at the IGN.com Theater. The movies which will be previewed include Hellboy 2: The Golden Army, The Incredible Hulk, The Spirit, X-Files 2, Speedracer, The Dark Knight, and Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay. Toon Books Second Printing
Due to advance orders, the first three books by Toon Books, New Yorker art director and RAW cofounder Francois Mouly's new line of book format comics for young readers, have gone back to press. Diamond Book Distributors are out of stock of Benny and Penny by Geoffrey Hayes, which was released on April 7, and the two other books Silly Lilly by Frank Cammuso and Otto’s Orange Day by Jay Lynch are also expected to sell out.

Templesmith IDW Exclusive
Ben Templesmith has signed an exclusive contract with IDW Publishing, and he will be creating a new series, Welcome to Hoxford, along with continuing his series Wormwood Gentleman Corpse. Welcome to Hoxford will be released in August, and Templesmith will be writing and drawing the series. Also, in August The Art of Wormwood will be released. Bristol Comic Expo
The Bristol International Comic Expo will be held May 9-11 hosted by the British Empire 7 Commonwealth Exhibition Hall and Ramada Plaza Hotel. Friday Amy 9 is Diamond U.K. retailers Day and the Orangutan Comics Film Night, which starts at 6 PM. The show will feature presentations on upcoming Marvel and DC releases, DC portfolio reviews, and the Eagle Awards on Saturday evening. There will also be guests such as Jim Shooter, Jim Starlin, Dave Gibbons, Mike Carey, and Mark Buckingham. More information about the event can be found at the Comic Expo’s website.

Desert Peach Online
Smashout Comics is offering Donna Barr’s comic The Desert Peach online. Nine issues of the comic have been posted to the e-book site Wowio and can be downloaded for free. There are a total of thirty-five issues and a Desert Peach novel and play, which will be posted in coming months. Desert Peach is a tongue-in-cheek fictional account of the adventures of the apparently gay brother of Nazi general Erwin Rommel, The Desert Fox.
Jules Feiffer at the Strand
Jules Feiffer will present his book, Explainers: The Complete Village Voice Strips 1956-66, at the Strand Bookstore in New York City on Thursday May 15. Feiffer will give a reading and sign books. The Strand is located at 828 Broadway at 12Street in New York City. Explainers will be released on May 28. More information can be found at the Fantagraphics' website.

Karasick and Newgarden Sign
Paul Karasik, editor of I Shall Destroy all the Civilized Planets, and Mark Newgarden, author of We All Die Alone, will be holding a signing and talk at Desert Island Comics in New York City on Friday April 18at 7 p.m.. TwoMorrows’ Podcasts
TwoMorrows Publishing has announced the return of their “TwoMorrmows’ Tune-In” podcasts. The podcasts will be run by Chris Marshall, who produced and hosted his own podcast, The Collected Comics Library. The podcasts will focus on creators and subjects of TwoMorrows books. Recent guests on the podcasts include Michael Eury and Danny Fingeroth.

New A.D. Chapters
Chapter 10 and Chapter 11 of A.D.: New Orleans After the Deluge By Josh Neufeldare up at Smith.com. A.D. follows the true stories of six people who survived Hurricane Katrina. Also, Neufeld was interviewed by Walrus Comix, in which he discuses his work with Harvey Pekar and the ACT-I-VATE webcomics collective.

March Zuda Winner
Johnny Zito and Tony Trovarello’s Black Cherry Bombshells has won the March Zuda Competition. Black Cherry Bombshells will be run as a webcomic at Zuda. The comics for the April competition are available for voting.
