Chronicle Hosts First Little Free Library Design Competition
Chronicle Books has launched its Little Free Library Design Competition in collaboration with the Little Free Library organization and the American Institute of Architects’ San Francisco chapter, inviting architects and designers to rethink the Little Free Library structure and solve some problems identified by the communities who use them. Three distinct awards will be offered. Contest judges include Chronicle Books’ Michael Carabetta and Sara Schneider, Brett Randall Jones from David Baker Architects, Christina Jenkins from architecture education program Project H, team members from Snøhetta, the firm that just completed the highly anticipated SFMOMA expansion, and other design and architecture experts. Submissions are being accepted until November 11. Click here for more information.
