Doug Jones Named Deputy Publisher at Harper Group

Doug Jones has been appointed senior v-p and deputy publisher of the Harper group, reporting to Jonathan Burnham. In this newly created position, Jones will work with Burnham to oversee publishing for the group, which includes Harper, Harper Business, Harper Wave, Harper Design, Amistad, and Broadside. He will also serve as publisher of Harper Perennial and Harper Paperbacks. Jones has served as senior v-p of sales at HarperCollins for the past nine years.
