Comixology Adds HarperCollins Digital Graphic Novels
Comixology, Amazon’s digital comics marketplace, has reached an agreement to add graphic novels from HarperCollins to the Comixology and Kindle platforms beginning October 19.
HarperCollins will launch on Comixology with seven graphic titles with plans to add more.
Among the initial titles added to Comixology/Kindle are Avalon High: Coronation Vol. 1-3 written by Meg Cabot and illustrated by Jinky Coronado, Big Nate Vol. 1-3 Written and illustrated by Lincoln Pierce, Nimona by Noelle Stevenson (also nominated for a National Book Award), Monster: A Graphic Novel (an adaption of the Walter Dean Myers novel) by Guy Sims and illustrated by Dawud Anyabwile, and The Graveyard Book Graphic Novel Vol. 1 & 2 adapted by Neil Gaiman and P. Craig Russell and illustrated by Kevin Nowlan, P. Craig Russell, and others.
Comixology CEO and co-founder David Steinberger said he was “thrilled” to have HarperCollins join the Comixology platform. “We are pleased to offer their incredible catalog on our platform including the multiple award-winning young adult titles Nimona and Monster,” he said.
“We look forward to adding more titles from the HarperCollins catalog in the future, increasing the diverse selection of great graphic novels for Comixology fans around the globe,” Steinberger said.
