Book Industry Invited to Join the Women’s March on Washington

On Saturday, January 21, 2017, the day after the inauguration of Donald J. Trump as the next president of the United States, women will march on Washington for the protection of women’s rights and human rights. A meet-up is being organized by Laurie Gillman, owner of East City Bookshop, and Donna Paz Kaufman of the Bookstore Training Group of Paz & Associates. Book industry colleagues—including booksellers, publishers, editors, agents, authors, and librarians—and friends and family are invited to meet by the Statue of Neptune at the front of the Jefferson Building of the Library of Congress at 10 a.m. on January 21.
