Record Number of Bookstores to Participate in Indies First

More than 500 bookstores across all 50 states will participate in the American Booksellers Association's Indies First event on Small Business Saturday, a record number for the event. The day's activities will include authors volunteering as booksellers, Sherman Alexie's tour bus to Seattle indie bookstores with city council members and local reporters, musicians, and fellow authors, a number of in-store events, and collaborative efforts with local charities. Click here for a map of participating bookstores.
