Guests of Honor Unveiled for 2017 MoCCA Arts Festival

Gene Luen Yang and Becky Cloonan are among the guests of honor invited to the Society of Illustrators’s 2017 MoCCA Arts Festival, an annual indie comics show to be held, April 1-2, Metropolitan West event center in Manhattan.

The MoCCA Arts Festival is organized by the SoI, and celebrates independent and self-published comics and graphic novels. In addition to Yang (Secret Coders) and Cloonan (Gotham Academy), guests of honor at the 2017 MoCCA Arts festival will include Blutch (Peplum), Cliff Chiang (Paper Girls), Illustrator Drew Friedman, and David Lloyd (V for Vendetta).

The MoCCA Arts Festival will take place April 1 - 2nd from 11:00AM - 6:00PM at Metropolitan West (636 W. 46th St.). Programming will be held nearby at Ink48 (653 11th Ave). Some MoCCA events will be held at the Society of Illustrators gallery on 128 East 63rd Street, New York, NY 10065
