Nelson Literary Expands Into Adult Literary, Middle Grade
Nelson Literary Agency, in an effort to both extend its reach in the younger children's book market and expand into untapped adult market avenues, has announced the addition of two new agents.
Joanna MacKenzie, previously with Browne & Miller Literary Associates in Chicago, has joined the company as literary agent based in Chicago. She will be expanding NLA’s list for mysteries and thrillers, literary fiction, upmarket women’s fiction, and literary young adult literature.
Danielle Burby, previously with Hannigan Salky Getzler in New York, has joined the company as literary agent based in New York. She will be acquiring middle grade and young adult literature (all genres) and pursuing select passion projects in adult mysteries and thrillers and upmarket women’s fiction.
