Northern Stories, Norwegian Literary Agency, Launches

Northern Stories, a new independent literary agency, has opened in Oslo under the leadership of founders and co-owners Astrid Dalaker and Thomas Mala. Dalaker previously worked as sales and marketing director at Gyldendal Norsk and marketing director at Schibsted. Thomas Mala was previously sales and marketing director and deputy publisher at Forlaget Press. To date, six Norwegian authors have signed with the agency: Agnes Ravatn, Janne Stigen Drangsholt, Ida Løkås, Anders Bortne, and crime novelists Thomas Enger and Jørgen Jæger.
