Franklin & Siegal to Scout for AdN, Egmont Bulgaria
Franklin & Siegal Associates have been appointed U.S. scout for Alianza de Novelas (AdN), a new division of Grupo Anaya, the Spanish arm of Hachette Livre. AdN launched last fall with a focus on crime, suspense, thrillers, and upmarket fiction in translation. Some highlights from the list include Michael Connelly, Tana French, Adam Haslett, and Ann Patchett. Franklin & Siegal will also scout for the Alianza Editorial, Algaida, and Bóvedaimprints.
Franklin & Siegal have also been appointed U.S. scout for Egmont Bulgaria, a division of the Danish Egmont Group. They will scout middle-grade and YA fiction for their market-leading children’s list—which is home to JK Rowling, Stephenie Meyer, and Veronica Roth—as well as commercial women’s fiction.
