Folio Society Offers Illustrated Edition of Neil Gaiman’s ‘American Gods’

Acclaimed novelist and comics writer Neil Gaiman has teamed with comics artist Dave McKean to create an illustrated edition of American Gods, Gaiman’s award-winning novel about the ancient gods traveling to the new world.

For this special slipcased hardcover collector’s edition of American Gods, McKean has created 12 full color illustrations. The illustrations include double-page spreads and a frontispiece in addition to creating designs for the binding and slipcase.

The American Gods special illustrated collector’s edition  contains an introduction and afterword by Gaiman and an introduction by McKean.

The edition is published by the Folio Society. The book is 560 pages and will sell for $120.
