Titan to Release ‘The Bloody Best of Lenore’ 25th Anniversary Hardcover
Lenore, the cute little dead girl, is celebrating her 25th anniversary. Titan Comics announced the release of The Bloody Best of Lenore written and drawn by Roman Dirge, a hardcover special celebratory collection coming in August.
A salute to the adorably undead Lenore, this special 25th anniversary hardcover release has “more mayhem and mutilation than you can shake a severed head at!” according to the Titan comics release.
The Bloody Best of Lenore ($34.99, 176p) collects volumes 1-5 of the Titan series. The book includes the stories “Babysitting” (see why Lenore should not be near babies), “Ragamuffin” (the first appearance of the vampiric monster trapped in the body of a cute doll), and the “Macabre Mortimer Fledge” (which reveals the shocking secret of Lenore’s rebirth).
This anniversary embossed hardcover collection also offers “Lenore & Friends,” a bonus materials section with never before seen art materials. In addition the book includes an afterword by Lenore creator Roman Dirge, an Eisner nominated artist/writer.
Besides working on the Invader Zim animation series for Nickelodeon, Dirge also collects taxidermy and is a magician.
