Kay Mitchell Named Assistant Publisher at Sourcebooks

Kay Mitchell has been named to the newly-created position of assistant publisher at Sourcebooks. She has been at the publisher since 2005, when she joined the editorial department. In her new role, Mitchell will, the company said, be focused in areas of the business where the growth potential and opportunity is high, and dedicated focus is essential. For the next year, the company added, that focus will be on new initiatives and strategic marketing communications within the publisher’s growing e-commerce division.
