AAR Launches Diversity Internship Initiative

The Association of Authors Representatives has launched its Diversity Internship Initiative in partnership with the Publishing Certificate Program at the City College of New York. Through this association, the AAR will award grants of $2500-$5000 to PCP/City College students who have demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in publishing, specifically working in a literary agency. Those interested in the agency internship, for which students will receive academic credit, must work a minimum of 200 hours throughout the summer. The internships can be paid or unpaid; two students will receive an AAR grant. Interested parties should contact Retha Powers at rpowers@ccny.cuny.edu.
