Writers House Reorgs Rights Department
As part of a reorganization of its rights department, Maja Nikolic and Cecilia de la Campa will serve as co-directors of the global licensing department at Writers House literary agency.
Now managing director, global licensing, Nikolic will continue to oversee all of the agency’s international rights business while focusing on the agency’s adult fiction and non-fiction projects.
For her part, De la Campa has been promoted to the newly created role of executive director, global licensing and domestic partnerships. She will continue to oversee the agency’s kids and YA international rights business in addition to leading the agency's expansion into domestic rights channels, such as film/tv projects and theater adaptations.
Also as part of the reorganization, Writers House has hired director of adult U.K. licensing Peggy Boulos Smith, who will report to Nikolic. Further, Katie Stuart and James Munro have been promoted to licensing managers within the global licensing department, reporting to both Nikolic and de la Campa.
