Henry Holt Nabs Book by Democratic Candidate for Governor

Henry Holt will publish a book by Stacey Abrams, former Georgia House Minority Leader and a Democratic gubernatorial candidate in Georgia, on her experiences as a person of color. The book, Minority Leader: How to Lead from the Outside and Make Real Change, is slated to be published in spring 2018 and will "offer a powerful new definition of ambition as well as insights and advice for people to leverage their 'otherness' to their advantage," according to the publisher.

Senior editor Libby Burton bought North American rights from Linda Loewenthal of The Loewenthal Company.
