Library of Congress Announces Librarians-in-Residence Pilot Program

The Library of Congress is launching a librarians-in-residence pilot program to offer librarians early in their careers an opportunity to "develop their expertise and contribute to building, stewarding, and sharing the institution’s vast collections." Applications are open from November 1 to November 30, 2017, and the Library will select up to four applicants for a six-month residency beginning in June 2018. The program is open to students who will complete their master’s degrees in an American Library Association-accredited library and information science program no later than June 2018 or who completed such a degree no earlier than December 2016. Click here for more information.
